About Me:

Susan Elzey is a parenting coach and freelance writer in beautiful southern Virginia. She raised seven children, added two more with a remarriage, and is grandmother to an ever-increasing brood of grandchildren. Her oldest daughter has cerebral palsy, which provided plenty of parenting challenges. Her children are all successful, well-educated adults, or as they say, “You’ve never had to bail us out of jail, Mom.”
