The question that propels this week’s blog is, “Is America still a free country?”
Consider that the primary communication media is now the internet, which is completely controlled by three corporations: Twitter, Facebook, and Google. Consider that Twitter and Facebook have policies concerning what opinions their users are allowed and not allowed to express, including, in the latter category, any opinion concerning the 2020 election that does not conform to their blatantly biased narrative.
It is a given that freedom of speech is not a freedom when it comes to our masters at Twitter and Facebook. It is also a given that when one party refuses to allow the expression of certain opinions by other parties, the party of the first part is afraid of something. So, what could our superiors at Twitter and Facebook afraid of, pray tell? What is there to fear in someone, anyone, saying that in their opinion, the “election” in question was rigged in advance to advance the interests of a minority. There. I just said what Twitter and Facebook do not allow people to say, and life goes on as usual. My words unleashed no apocalypse.
Let’s just see if I can express an opinion that will endanger the security of the peoples of the world. How about, “CLIMATE CHANGE IS A HOAX!” Is everyone still okay? Okay, good. So, let’s try another one: “BIDEN IS NOT MENTALLY QUALIFIED TO BE POTUS!” Let me know when I need to stop, lest I infect millions of already slightly deranged people with PTSD. Next up is, “CONCERNING THE EVENTS OF JANUARY 6, 2021, TRUMP IS A SCAPEGOAT!” I just looked outside my home office window and it would appear that the Tribulation is not yet upon us.
It is fascinating, to say the least, that the media outlets in question have no problem with a person of questionable mental health like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) claiming that Republican men are “mad” at her because she will not go out on dates with them. Yes, she actually said that. Here it is, in her own words: “If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet…Ya creepy weirdos…It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women, & LGBT+ people in general. These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird.”
Now, you may know that I am licensed by the State of North Carolina to practice psychology, which is also known as mind-reading. As such, I am qualified to render assessments of the mental status of individuals whom I “examine.” In that regard, it is my duty as a citizen of the USA to say that the above rant by member of the House of Representatives of the United States of America Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, which Twitter’s filters let pass, is indicative of suspicious cognitive operations. It was definitely written by someone with delusions of grandeur. Ms. Ocasio-Cortez clearly believes that in the sexual allure department, she is a goddess. For the record, I vote Republican (while at times holding my nose) and I am a man and I do not find AOC to be anything but scary crazy. Yet I am to believe that I actually want to know her in the biblical sense, but because she is unattainable, I project my sexual frustrations onto her boyfriend’s feet. What does that mean? I have a male foot fetish?
If the self-appointed Masters of the All-Wise Political-Internet Complex desire to keep crazy opinions from reaching us, its subjects, allow me to point out that they are targeting the wrong opinions. Speaking from a strictly professional perspective, there is nothing irrational about thinking that the “election” of 2020, in which the only POTUS in my memory has actually done what he said he would do lost to a man who was and is quite obviously, unless he’s just putting us on, experiencing cognitive issues even more serious than those indicated by affiliation with the Democrat Party and had a problem getting anyone to show up at his “rallies,” was not entirely on the up-and-up. Did Trump actually and legally win? I do not want to venture into an area of expertise I know next to nothing about, but I think the possibility is worth a dispassionate investigation, if that is even possible in today’s America.
Again speaking from a strictly professional perspective, AOC’s recent post about my subconscious foot fetish raises serious questions about her mental status. But! Speaking as a person who lives his life in faltering accordance with two documents, the Bible and the Constitution of the USA, I think Facebook and Twitter should not presume to serve as her editors. Let her rip! If nothing else, she is amusing, in a pathetic sort of way. Trump, on the other hand, is genuinely hilarious at times. I will venture, however, no opinion about his feet.
