I have been married for 22 years to Joe Antonelli. We have five (5) children ranging from 14 to 19 years. In 2005, we adopted two (2) children from Ethiopia. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from Cal State University of Fullerton in Child Development and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential (1986). I worked as an Elementary School teacher for 8 years. Upon leaving the teaching profession, I proceeded to homeschool my own children for 12 years. I have worked with families in various ministries including, Children’s ministries, Family and Marriage, and Women’s Ministry at our church. I have been involved as a speaker in our Homeschool PSP, parenting classes, and am a Mentor Mom for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). My years of involvement with families in different stages of child rearing have given me the opportunity to help families work through a variety of issues from potty training and “terrible twos” to homework and authority issues.
I will develop a plan for your family based on your specific needs that, when followed, will transform your children and your home life. It is so gratifying to watch families change from frustrated to encouraged. I truly enjoy working with families on making their homes run more smoothly and peacefully. I have a true love for children and believe that the happiest children are those with well-defined boundaries. I will work with you and your family on creating and enforcing boundaries while fostering a home full of love and laughter.
I look forward to helping you learn successful parenting practices that will result in a better quality of life for your whole family.
