Dayton, OH Parent Retreat: March 9 and 10, 2018
“This is the best thing that has ever happened to our family!” – Robert and Callie from San Diego
“A truly life-changing experience!” – Frank and Delores from Hawaii
“We leave with renewed confidence in our ability to raise well-mannered children!” – William and Anna from Atlanta
Over the past twenty years, John has been conducting two-day small-group Parent Retreats across the country. During these events, which he calls “re-parenting workshops,” John helps parents properly understand and solve the problems they’re having with kids of all ages, especially problems with discipline. As the above attendee-feedback indicates, parents from all over the USA have been unanimous in praising the experience.
On March 9 and 10, 2018 (Friday and Saturday), John is holding a Parent Retreat in Dayton, OH!
John has recently revamped the Parent Retreat experience and is pleased to announce the following: In addition to two days (approximately 12 hours) of teaching, interaction, and Q&A with John, he will be hosting a group dinner (dutch) on Friday evening at a very nice local restaurant. Attendees are welcome to attend the dinner, during which he will devote some time to Q/A. Also included in the price of the retreat is a discounted one-hour follow-up phone (or in-person if convenient) consultation with John.

On Friday, March 9, John will teach basic effective parenting principles, with an emphasis on effective discipline. Borrowing from Bill O’Reilly, John says, “Caution! The principles I teach on day one are not what mental health professionals have been telling parents for the past fifty years. For one thing, this stuff isn’t based on bogus psychological theory; it’s based on research-based fact. As such, it makes sense, it’s easy to put into practice, and best of all, it works!”
On Saturday, March 10, John will use lots of real-life anecdotes to demonstrate the “how-to” of the principles from day one. This second day will be “customized” to the needs of individual parents and parent couples in the group, and John will give plenty of opportunity for questions.
