Tanya began her career as a preschool and elementary school teacher, with a BA in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development from the University of North Texas. She worked with children for 7 years before switching her focus to taking care of her own new family. She has been happily married for 24 years to the same loving and devoted man. Together they have 4 children, 3 girls, and 1 boy. Tanya first heard John Rosemond in 2000 and immediately recognized that the principles John shared aligned with her parenting goals. She began implementing his tools and was amazed by the positive effect his no-nonsense parenting techniques had on her "strong-willed children.” Her passion for encouraging and equipping other parents with the right leadership skills to raise their children to be good productive members of society, live in a peaceful home, and experience joy as a family is what encouraged her to become a certified Leadership Parenting Coach through the John Rosemond Leadership Parenting Institute.
